I remember the art lecturer in art school 

‘Cecil Todd’ that ignited my love for abstraction telling me “all art is an illusion”. 

I will define myself as an illusionist that uses a plethora of 2 dimensional symbolism to express and communicate my thoughts. Some of my symbols are from innate primitive instinct, others have been acquired by nurture. Some have been shamelessly borrowed from my artistic progenitors who sometimes have been accused of cultural appropriation and plagiarism of so called primitive cultures.
